Purchasing Reprints and BORHS-Produced CDs

Updated March 9, 2023

We have been selling copies of our B&O Company documents, commonly known as the "Reprints" (7xxxx Items) mainly in digital form, delivered by electronic download. We are now also selling CDs, which are produced by the Society (401xx, 402xx, and 404xx Items), in the same manner. All reprint items sold by digital download are priced at one-half the original price and delivered to our customers via a secure FTP (download) site. At this time, there will be no Shipping & Handling fee for digital delivery.

All downloads are delivered via WeTransfer.com and receipts are delivered via email from borhsstore@gmail.com. If you use a spam blocker, be sure these addresses are accepted.

Reprints:
All the paper masters have been scanned; so, deivery will be immediate in most cases.

We have a limited number of paper documents left in stock. In an effort to get them sold, they are being offered at one half of their original paper price; and there will be no shipping and handling fee added. There is a significant possibility that this stock will already be sold out when an order is received. In that event, no paper copy will be provided but a refund will be given unless you specify that the digital copy is an acceptable replacement.

The web site indicates the Paper status of each of the reprint items that we offer for sale.

  • If the Description of a stock number includes the comment that it "May be available as a paper copy", the item was in stock in paper form but may have been sold out by the time your order is processed. HOWEVER, if you desire the paper copy, you must order the regular item AND in Comments indicate that you want Paper with a further statement that you WILL or WILL NOT accept the digital replacement. Alternatively, you may use the Manual Order Form to list the item(s) and indicate those you desire in paper and also state whether or not you will accept the digital version. If you make no indication that you want a paper copy, we will provide the digital copy by download when it is available.

CDs:
The CDs, now sold as downloads, include the Sentinels (sold in 5-year collections), the Modeler (sold in annual collections), and the VP of Engineering Reports. Additionally, The Scans from the Archives booklets (794xx Items) will now be provided as only the CD files (now numbered as 4011x). Note that the convention books which included a CD will be delivered digitally including both the book and the CD files. All these items are available now for quick delivery.

The 10% member discount still applies to orders for all these digital items.
